I just put this in my car yesterday. So far so good but I'll see what happens. Also, isnt almost a year a bit too long, Ive only had my car a few months and I alreay changed it, then again I travel a long way to work and take the car everywhere.

Bobistheoilguy.com My car only gets about 4-5k miles a year because im at school most of the year (w/o the lude ). Anyway, Amsoil suggests a drain interval of 1yr/25k miles. The max id run any oil is 10k miles. But in terms of time, oil analysis shows that 1yr is fine for amsoil, and most ppl running till 10-12k miles have no problem. Check out the oil analysis results forum on that site.

I change the filter between changes. <TABLE WIDTH="90%" CELLSPACING=0 CELLPADDING=0 ALIGN=CENTER><TR><TD>Quote, originally posted by Sam1am26 &raquo;</TD></TR><TR><TD CLASS="quote">how is this a prelude question?</TD></TR></TABLE>

I realized after posting that this was a mistake. Sorry about the thread.
