Help me diagnose a problem. Fuel pump is not working, V-AFC not working.
3 days ago, my friend replaced his stock fuel pump for a walbro. Starts up fine and then the next day, he was driving and the car just shuts off. The radio, lights, etc work, however, the V-AFC would not turn on. So we figured the V-AFC was bad...but we connected it directly to the battery and it worked fine. All of the Fuses are fine.
The Main relay was replaced a month ago and we pulled that out to check and it's fine.
The car will not start up, but it will crank. We loosened up the banjo bolt on the fuel filter under the hood and turned the key and there is no fuel coming out. What could cause this?
Also, the CEL is constantly on...it won't go off. So we pulled out the ECU and turned the key and the CEL stays on for maybe 1 second and goes away.
Could this be a bad ECU? Or could it be a loose ground wire somewhere?

The ECU controls the on/off of the fuel pump, so you may very well have a back ECU. To get you running in the mean time, you can run a new power line to the fuel pump plug (4 wire plug under the cargo area in a crx). I forget which one is the power line. But its one of the two yellows. The other yellow is the sender.
I recommend this on every crx anyways. Run a power line with a hidden switch. Boom, instant theft deterant system.

Ok, I jumped the V-AFC and the fuel pump to the ignition wire and they both work fine. However, the car still does not start up.
Could it be the ECU ?

Double check this fuse:

It gets overlooked because of how it is labeled..
>supplies power to the main relay..
