Default Fuel pump shutting off and car going lean.

Get this! Every now and then I will get into my car and it wont start(this is a pain in the ***). I noticed that the fuel pump wasnt working when you first turn the key. If I wigel the wires going into the ECU just right, turn the key to the on position, the fuel pump turns on and the car starts. Is there a wire for the fuel pump that goes into the ECU? I also have another problem that might be related, I will be driving and the car will go like full lean on my auto meter air fuel gauge and the car trys to stall(also a pain in the ***). If I just turn my fields vtec controler on and off and it is going again. I have a fiew connections with electro taps that I still have to replace that might be the problem and I will be replacing them shortly. Does anyboby have any suggestions.

sound like your main relay is going.

Wiggling the wires at the ecu isnt actually doing anything. It will just stop working intermitantly, and then eventually die altogether.

My car is doing the same thing right now, I just need to get off my lazy *** and replace it.

Sound like that might be it. Could that also be causing the car to just shut down when driving. By the way thanks again.

I'm not sure.
Mine has yet to shut off on my while I'm driving. Sometimes after I start it up, it will run for about 30 seconds and the shut off. Then I have to just wait for the relay to decide to start working again.
