Default Problem: Auto teg.Wont shift from park into any gear.

I recently had a hella horn installation problem
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=1298417
The fuse keeps blowin.

Anyways, I just put everything back together because I have to drive my car. Problem is my car wont get out of park.

NOTE: This is a 95 teg auto.

Im hoping once I fix my horns it will fix the problem. Im thinking this is the problem because this started happening when I tried installing my hella horns.

I don't see what the shifting problem would have to do with the horn installation. Do you have an aftermarket auto shift ****. I had this problem on my Accord when the shift **** was not put on in the exact correct position.

How can you tell if its at the correct position? I just placed an aftermarket **** and now the key wont come out. I have a feeling its the position sensor.

if I remember right from when I had an auto, there should be a release switch by inserting a key into a slit in the auto shifter console, this should release your teg from park
it's not a solution, but at least you can drive it around while you replace the little switch that is causing the problem.
I might be wrong if I'm thinking about my accord automatic and not my integra automatic

a friend of mine had this problem on his accord and there was this little pit that was bent.....i am sure if you take the console apart you will see what the problem is.

Problem solved. It was my horn installation that caused the problem. The fuse that kept blowin was the horn/stop(brake) fuse.

I just read my dealer manual and it says you need to press the brake and press the shifter on the the stick to move from park to whatever gear.

Once i fixed the wiring on my horns i just changed the fuse and everything was good.
