I would suggest a "high-milage" conventional 5W-30 such as Pennzoil High-Mileage Vehicle, Castrol GTX High Mileage, etc.

j/k, even though I do think they sell it at Autobacs

anyway, like stated above, use High-mileage oil.

mobil 1 5w30w, especially in the summer time, flows better through the head, better for start up, also amsoil is pretty much the best **** you can get. i change my oil every 500 mi, as soon as it starts getting dark color. when you let your oil go for a long time the additives burn up, sticking to all those precias parts. then its hard to remove

holy ****, you must spend a lot of money on oil... if its synthetic you use.

I just got my teg and started to put 10w30 castrol syntec, seems to work pretty well.

Every 500 miles? Are you insane? Why the hell would you ever do that? If I did that, I'd spend a **** ton of money each month. Four quarts of 10w-30 Castrol Syntec ($22) and Fram Tough Guard Filter ($5). We'll round up to $30... I put about 2000 miles on my car a month. That would be over a $100 in oil changes each month. Whats what I spend in gas each month... haha... I bet your engine is in great shape though...

efb16girl- are you retarded? thats ridiculous! you do realize that you can actually go longer between oil changes with synthetic right? i usually change mine at 4500 miles. i've gone to 7k before, and the oil was just the same as at 4500.

I usually change my oil at 5k mile intervals... Did you mean 5000 maybe, and just left a 0 off?

still retarded. i change mine every 4500 and i've pulled everything apart and it was super clean, perfect compression and everything too. no need to change it after only 500 miles. you're just wasting oil and i know you say its "free" so you dont care, but its really not free, someone is eating up that cost somewhere. so with that said, i hope you get fired for stealing the oil youre unnecessarily wasting.
