95 GSR oil?
you get what you pay for. i like the higher end oils...and i think at any mileage, if your car is in decent condition, use the viscosity that honda reccomends - 5/30. my accord is running on 5/30 at 153k miles with no problems. doesn't burn a drop. my gsr is at 120k running on 5/30 with no problems and burning no oil so far. run 5/30. if your car is in shitty condition, then run 10/30.

Yup. My brother uses Mobil 1 in his DA9.

While the owners manuals says 5W-30, the Helm Factory Service Manual mentions two weights. It recommends 5W-30 for all conditions, however if you are only going to be in climates above apx 17°F/-8°C you can use 10W-30.
I always go with Mobil 1 10W-30. I'm trying Mobil 1 Extended Performance currently. Mobil 1 guarantees it for 15k miles or one year, but I think I will change it sooner since I know how hard I drive my car. But apparently Extended Performance contains 50% more SuperSyn, 37% more cleaning agents, and 36% more anti-wear additives than even normal Mobil 1.

i've been using Royal Purple for awhile. I used it in my 190K mile 1990 Mustang 5.0 and it was great. i'm about to change the oil in my Integra for the first time since buying it and i just bought 3 quarts of 5W30 Royal Purple and Lucas Synthetic Oil Stabilizer. Hopefully i'll get the same results i've been getting for the past few years.
I change to 10w-30 mobil1 syn oil at about 97000 miles . . . ever since then ive been burning oil, my oil light went on about 700 miles after the oil change i was like WTF! could it be that i changed to syn oil thats makin my car burn oil? if so can i just go back to regular motor oil?
its a 98 ls

in most modern engines swtiching back is no big deal. if synthetic is really causing oil burning, just switching back might not stop the problem. the cleaners in synthetic oils can clean away grime that WAS preventing oil leaks. if that happened to you, the leaks are already there, switching back to regular may not solve your problem.

At about 95K I switched to Mobil1 full synthetic, I think I was running 10w30 but I can't remember for sure. Then at 115K I decided to switch back to conventional, going with the Valvoline MaxLife stuff.
Now my car has 207K miles, I run 5w30 MaxLife year round, and by the time I hit 3000 miles on each oil fill (which is about every 4 weeks or so), the dipstick still shows the level at the full mark.
Primarily daily driver, but I have tracked it a few times.
