Help with my jl audio system!!
im runnin a jl 500/1 with a 12'' w7...after hooking it all up....it was working fine for a few minutes...then my sub turns off and on constantly...could it be the amp?...i think there is something wrong with the amp...its probably a shortage in the amp that makes it power the sub on and off....some1 help...lol
You need to disconnect the sub and and check it with a multimeter or DVM, I would also check all the connections, take a close look at the amp ground, and check the fuse on the amp power wire, by the batt., make sure it's not defective.

You need to keep the ground wire short & it has to be grounded to bare metal.
What ga. wire did you use?
