I just bought a 02 Civic HX. It has power locks but all I got with the car was a key. Does anyone know if this car came with factory keyless entry system?

After looking online, it seems that in the HX model the keyless entry system was built into the facotry radio ... well, when I bought the car, the car did not have it; it has a Pioneer put in it ... bummer.

So does this mean that if I want keyless entry I have to have an aftermarket one installed? Or can I just hunt around for a factory radio on say like Ebay or a junk yard for a 2002 HX?

 

You can get a key less entry R/F unit for under $50 probably under $30 as you do not need actuators or relays, the only part of the oem key less system that is in the oem radio is the R/F section, you can get the key less or just get an alarm and do key less 94
