The integras have d16a1's. Why would that not fit in a crx. It's the same exact block. Wiring may present some issues, but everything will definetly bolt up. They even make the exact same power as the Si motors. 113hp.

No its not the exact same block, Try putting a SOHC head on one...it doesnt work.

Nor does it have mounting holes for the ED drivers side mount, The ED tranny's dont bolt up right, the Rear mount WILL NOT BOLT UP.

On top of that it has a Vacuum advance dizzy, Which will be a MF to wire.

Verdict:: Get another A6 and be happy....If you want a DOHC D series..get a DOHC ZC and be done with it, dont pursue things that are just ridiculous to put in for the exact same HP rating.

Just think of 84-87 Civics/CRXs and 86-89 Integras as the "OLD SKOOL FAMILY", and 88+ Civics/CRXs as the "NEW SKOOL FAMILY". Never the twain shall meet. "OLD SKOOL FAMILY" has a different head bolt pattern, different engine/tranny mounts, and different bellhousing bolt patterns than the "NEW SKOOL FAMILY". That having been said....

hey sam385, you wanna sell them thar teg engines and trannies? Let me know.
