That really depends on where you go. I would rather buy another motor if I were you.

Your best bet is do to a swap. Either swap it out for a better running d15b2 or a b-series, h22, f20 etc. whatever you like really.

D15's aren't really worth rebuilding, when you factor in parts and labor it's just not worth it, unless you are building it for turbo.

Just something to think about.

if you don't want to do a major swap, just get the sohc vtec. its simple, quick and painless and cheap on the pocket. but to truly answer your question, i don't know how much it would cost to rebuild. el vapp was right, depends on where you take it and how much work is done.

i've seen low miles d15b2's given away for 50 bucks, i myself gave a high mile one away for free. just get one from somebody. a d15b1 will work, too, the only difference there is the camshaft and a couple pieces in the intake manifold.

Ya, at least drop a d16a6 in there, bearings alone on a rebuild will cost you $100, not to mention head gasket and rings, theres $150 right there.

Wow, F20 huh? lol.
Just go find a D16Y8, they're cheap as hell and will run better than your D15, and it has VTEC!!!!!!

[edit] Oh yeah, it's spelled "Rebuild"
