P1456 wtf code 90 sux
I was getting code 90 so I had it pulled
getting a
P1456 Evaporative Emissions (EVAP) Control System Leakage (Fuel Tank System)
they told me it was the gas cap so I bought a new one from autozone
light is still on
what else do I check?
does the light reset itself or am I supposed to do something?

You have to reset the ECU (pull the negative off the battery) to get the light to go out. If there is still a problem, the CEL will come back on.
What's your setup? You by chance driving a non-Ex 96-98 Civic?
Are you also by chance running an ECU that is not stock?
