Default Switching over from Auto -> Manual, Do I need to change the center console? 95 Civic DX

As the title says, do I need to change the center console piece?

no, but u'll have to find a way to mount the shift boot to the console. did u already perform this swap? im only askin because i've done a few and in the 92-95 auto to manual u have to cut and re-weld the upper trans mount about 3 inches back (if u already did not know)

couldnt you just get the trans mount for a manuel and it bolt up? or are you talking about the one on the body?

instead of cutting and rewelding a mount cant you but a relocation mount for hasport? i know its about $200 but......

the mount that is on the frame rail, top of the trans

yeah u can buy a mount made specifically for auto-manual swaps on the 5th gen civics. i have one.

also, u do not need to change the center console. and a shift boot from another 5th gen civic of 3rd gen integra will bolt right up. i have a gsr shift boot in mine, bolted up with two srews in the OEM locations.
