What about floating idles?
example, after reving it, it drops to about 1200rpm for about 3 seconds before dropping to the 800rpm ... is this normal?
I don't recall this happening to my car before... *shrugs*

also I have a problem with my idle it will drop really low like to maybe 2-300 rpm but then will bounces to like 1000 rpm back and forth for about a 4 secs then idle at like 8-900 rpm. But also it will sometime just go into like a limp mode were it will idle at like 200 then when I hit the gas it will just die after that! HELP ME OUTTY

Your ECU should be controlling the idle with the IACV (idle air control valve).

Roughly good advice follows..

Helms says to adjust the idle srew with the IACV off to 500 rpm(engine warm) and then reconnect the IACV ....But missing with the idle srew should be your last last last option.
If it idles at 500 with IACV off swap out the IACV...
Good Luck.</TD></TR></TABLE>

uhh ohh thats not good. This might be your problem if not whats stated below. People start ******* with **** when they dont know what they are doing and this is a result.
EDIT: Its a flathead screw, so this shouldnt be stripped. You sure you are looking at the right one?

Mine does the same and it is more than likely your Idle air control valve(IACV). However since I didnt have money to replace it, I just upped the idle and it revs right at 750 now.
