english lessons will fix that

HAhah, ok just kidding

make sure you used the correct gauges , did you leave one in there ?

do a compresion and leakdown test to make sure that you didnt drop a valve, or knock a retainer/keeper loose. I hope not.

Maybe you tightened them too much? Are you positive the cylinders were actually right at TDC when adjusting each one?

^^thats what im thinking too.

Did you Rotate the Crank a 1/4 turn on the Cam gear each time you adjusted a cyl's valve lash?

And did you do it with the motor COMPLETELY COLD?

If not then theres your problem.

I'll put $20 on that being the problem.

Does it really matter which way you turn the crank? As long as you are measuring the correct cylinder at 1/4 turns from TDC, I think it's ok... people correct me if I'm wrong... because I may be really wrong.

Yeah it matters because you have to do it in Firing Sequence with the way the motor turns, so 1342 the Cyl's will be a TDC when you adjust., If you do it backwards you will not get it right.
