Did a compression check on my motor. D16Y7 bottom end with a D16Y8 head.. yielded 150 on every cylinder. BUt just thought it might be a tad higher than FJTs readings with just a D16Y7, just wondering if that seems about right. I think it does, just thought I would show what I got. Also This yields compression around 8:5:1?

 

Did you do the Test at WOT? if not it should change the numbers.

of course! I was just trying to compare to FJT, because I thought with the Y8 head it would be higher. That is all. THe motor has 2000 miles on it.

Yea, LoL. the motor is fine. I was just curious about not seeing any difference. It doesn't really matter I guess, it is so small.

 

it yielded 150 on my motor when they where just installed..after 7k miles it had gone up to 165PSI per cylinder.
