adjusting valves ?
You do each cylinder when it's at TDC, so 1-3-4-2. It's a quarter turn of the cam gear or a half turn of the crank pulley to go to the next TDC for the firing order.
There's a trick to do it in half the time, but I'm trying not to confuse you. Do it when the engine is cold. And if you dont' have any clue what the above paragraph means, I wouldn't risk it and just take it to someone who knows what they'd be doing.

well I have done it before, but it has been a while and i cant remember the shortcut. try to explain it and i am sure that i will remember

its not really a trick u just have to do it when the motor is cold..or less than 100 degrees i believe...they say do the exhuat ones first but i dont know if that is really a must

That's not the trick, the trick is being able to do 1 full cylinder, 1 in., 1 ex., rotate engine, 1 full cylinder, other in., other ex. This gets it done in half the time. In 3 hours I can post up how to do it, I have it written down at home.

Alright here we are.
With #1 at TDC, adjust both intake and exhaust on 1, intake on 2, exhaust on 3.
Adjust to #4 at TDC, adjust both intake and exhaust on 4, intake on 3, exhaust on 2.
With #1 at TDC, adjust both intake and exhaust on 1, intake on 2, exhaust on 3.
