b16a2 smoking problem.
check your oil level on the dipstick periodically. If it's low consistantly it may be a leak somewhere and it's burning up or could be bad rings.

bad valve seals, does it only smoke when you start off from a stop and under hard acceleration? Or does it smoke all the time when you are driving it, if its just under those two conditions that could be your problem

if im just cruising it doesnt do anything but under hard acceleration i leave a cloud right when i stomp on it . right around when vtec engages.
if the valves weren't seated properly wouldn't his car run like crap? I mean if the valves were seated right wouldn't air get past them, loosing compression? Sounds to me like either the valve seals need to be replaced or maybe the rings are a little worn.
Do a compression test and a leakdown test. A comp test will tell you which cylinder has the problem and leakdown test will help diagnose what the problem actually is.
Also, check to see if there is any coolant in your oil, or oil in your coolant. Does your oil look like chocolate milk?

no the oil is clean that is the first thing i checked and the coolent still looks as new as it was when i put the motor in. i have a buddy whose a honda tech up here said it might be the valve seals but i really dont feel like taking the head off. but why would i get a strong oil burning smell
took the head off yesterday and played with the pistons and they were moving. my dad said the rings are shot so im just gonna put my lsvtec block in there and pray for the best
