wouldn t want to, the blower would be dead soon and thats beside the fact it would be blowing air hotter than the sun into the engine. pretty sure everything i ve ever read says the blower becomes inefficient and will not produce and power gains above 11-13psi so good luck with that and happy detonation

Have you though of going the LHT intercooler route? With that much boost(and heat) that would be ideal, not to mention the extra power. http://www.lhtperformance.net/....html
Check that out. It would be a worthy upgrade, especially considering your already high compression.

With that 11:1 compression ratio plus blowing super hot air...

dude, your boosting 15psi with a jrsc...good luck on the longjevity of it... I thought like 12psi was the end of the jrsc capability...like the teflon tape on the blades comes off due to the increased heat by the increased psi...?

Good god, I hope you have a b18 head on it, cause the b16 head used a smaller supercharger. And your now spinning it 2x what it was suppose to do. I hope you sent you stuff to endyn before...Im curious, did you even research this, cause I have, and decieded the jrsc is bad if you want to upgrade down the line.

actually people have come a long way with that blower. It has to be treated like a stock motor though, its made for low end power, and needs to be heavily modified for lots of boost. Its been done quite a few times, however the way it comes from the factory is far from ideal at 15psi

He has a 15 psi JRSC on his B20/VTEC, but still spells it VTECH?

Sorry, but I find it hard to believe that anyone who has a VTEC motor could see VTEC on their valve cover and still add the H.

Lots of people have done 15psi. Highest I remember was a claimed 19psi from some crazy guy here on H-T. It's in the ancient archives somewhere. He was probably full of **** though.

Efficiency isn't the biggest problem. There are dozens of ways to cool the air.

One issue is that there are diminishing returns - the faster you spin the charger, the less air it actually begins to move.

Second issue is overspinning the bearings. It's not really psi related, but when you spin the blades at too high of an RPM the bearings go bad. I remember some guy was running 16psi and he had to rebuild twice when mine was still perfect. His bearings went bad and the coating on the blades was gone.
