11.2:1 compression and a supercharger
My compression check is yielding 200 psi across the board. I'm considering running 5 psi or so of boost on it. What are your thoughts, concerns, comments?

do it, that is what im planning on doin, high compression + boost = insane power, that is an equation that cannot be disproved, its a law...high compression = more power period. you'll make great power with that kind of comperssion, just make sure you tune it well..

Re: (Walker0904)
I am a big fan of high compression plus boost. In this case, I would recommend away from it if you are going with a roots style blower. Without the intercooler, that is a lot of heat to be dumping in with that compression. I think you will have a hard time keeping away from detonation. I'm not saying it isn't possible, but either way you could make more power with a properly tuned turbo setup for the same cost.

Re: (intercooledJRSC)
I'm thinking I'm going centrifugal if anything. With 11.2:1 compression, 5 psi should be good for at least another 40 to 45 or so at the wheels... I'm making 189 at the wheels now so another 40 would be most welcome
