Full race tubular manifolds are great for high end hp on a 1.8t if you've upgraded the turbo. however, 1.8t cams have a hard time up top and most 1.8t motors will max out at 7200rpm.

Tubular manifolds also lose some torque down low. A log manifold from ATP or EIP is less expensive than a full race and has pretty decent flow. I have personally run an MMP manifold which is like log style with a t3/t04e 50 trim and if flows great.
