Default To boost or not to boost....

I've had 2 GSR swaps in the past in 2 different civics hatch's so now i have a 95 vx hatch and now im thinking of either another GSR swap or go LS turbo the shop said they can do a LS swap and boosted it for about $5500 installed, thats here in Texas. I've done my searches and was not happy with the results...Also what does every think of the RSR Catback cheapest i found it was for $450 and lastley what numbers are you guys with B18B Boosted putting down at around 7bls to 9lbs...Thanks

boost owns all.

Do you have the option @ all to do work on your own car? 5500 sounds like an arm and a leg. But this is coming from someone who has never paid a shop to do ****.

And I'm not sure about that particular RSR model but it just looks like a Type R muffler. With a big muffler shouldn't be too loud.

It's probably 2.25 or 2.5", and overpriced for what you get, especially for a turbo kit. Kteller 3" and be done with it.

I'll never do anything but a custom catback again. They aint bling, but they do the trick

If you've alreayd had two gsr swapped cars, then why not try ls turbo for once, if nothing else?

you would still save money after buying all the tools if you did it yourself... and then you would also be ready to fix it when it breaks

The only swap i ever done was putting a D16 back into a CRX with out a cherry picker lol...That was easy as cake....im going to call the shop and ask what the price diff if i was to want B16a2 and boost droped in, should not be that much of a diff in price...And about installing the swap my self im way too lazy and i can now afford it being that i make $21.80hr at UPS as a driver lol...Now that i know for sure im going to boost, its just picking either the B16a or B18B because HMO has them both and it only a $50.00 diff in price....HMO OWNS all lol.....keep the comments coming guys...Thanks

its not gonna matter... a b16 has vtec and 200 less cc's. a b18b has 200 more cc's and no vtec.
to a shop it doesnt matter because the motors would use the same turbo kit components and would require the same labor/parts to install
