where to buy parts for air compressor?
ok so my parents got me this air compressor. its pretty beat but i can make due with it since its free, lol. i already got a new hose, tones of fittings for tools and such, but i want to put a pressure switch on there so it shuts off at certain pressure, and comes back on at another, right now its just straight wired with a house light switch on one wire. pretty ghetto. the tank is a 15 gallon and is pretty ancient looking, i have no idea on cfms or pressure rating but im not too worried since ill just be using light air tools. also, the motor seems to be bunk. where could i just get a motor? i just need a large electric motor to driv the compressor (electric motor drives compressor via pulley, very quiet setup)
so where to buy a pressure switch and where to buy a motor? thanks

It appears that they have quite a lot of repair parts for compressors.

Something to think about..
Compressor tanks usually rust from
the inside out and become weak over time..
I have seen a thread with pictures [here I believe]
that a tank failed in a violent explosion and took out
part of someone's car and part of the garage wall..
If this thing is really ancient and needs parts,
You might be better off starting over.

well we will see. i got it for free so hell if i can use it then i will. ill be sure to stand back when its filling up with pressure, lol. i drained the tank today of water. and all i really need is a motor, just an electric motor to drive a pump.
and there is a grainger near me, but apparently they dont sell to the general public. you have to have an account with them. where i work has an account so ill just say im from there, lol. ill see what i can find.

yessss, graingers rocks. i picked up a pressure switch, filter/regulator, and im gonna go back probably tomorrow and pick up a new electric motor. the motor is looking to be like 120 bucks though
i realize it would have been cheaper to just buy a new one at this point, but it was fun redoing it, and at least it wont be loud as **** like all other compressors.
its actually very quiet because of the pulley driven compressor design
