Anyone try eletric supercharger
Alright it might sound a lil stupid and all but on ebay they have a electric supercharger for 130.00, makes 15 to 40 hp and 10-20 lbs of torque. now I dont have a lot of money or anything and this seems like a reasonable gain so I am thinking about purchase this for my car very soon, so what do you think? and please dont rip me a new one, i am 17 and I just wanted to ask, later

do yourself a favor and save that 130 bucks for beers or something
15hp and 10lbs of boost, thats rediculous
btw, those "hp chip" that they sell on ebay that claims to gain a bunch of hp, dont buy those either

Those figures are wrong, my friend slapped one onto his GSR and got 30hp. Stupid false advertising!!!

The above two are real, instead of running a belt to drive the blower ot "turbo" you are using an electric engine.
I think the eaton one could work well. Big down side is it runs on 24volts. Also it would not produce the boost at the right times. The engine would allways be running, so even at idle it woud produce boost. Not good for a car.
I did not read the entrie thing, but i am sure this has a use somehwere, just not on our cars
