PERFORMANCE CHIPS ON EBAY
Hi, i was browsing through ebay and they had various types of performance chips.....ranging anywhere from 25 bucks.....but they say they remove the speed limiter and increase redline.....
is this a good buy? anyone actually have onE?

if you wouldve searched, you wouldve found that this topic is covered atleast 2+ times a month! To sum it up for you, the chips on ebay are generic maps which all run VERY RICH. There was another member here on h-t that wanted to prove to everything that these "CHEAP" upgrades are a total waste of money. He dynoed his car with the highly advertised tornado and then tried these ebay chips. In both cases, his car lost power!!

Not only that but some of these chips disable various sensors which can actually damage your car.
Like the others above posted.. do not waste your time. Reliable horsepower costs $$. Don't be cheap
