Default Check Engine Code for Vtec Pressure Switch (Tried Everything)

Hello Fellow Civic Heads.

Input Needed.
My JDM B16 A Is giving me a code only when i rev at high Rpm's.
The code is blinking 22 and i checked the manual and it said it was the vtec pressure switch. So i replace the whole VTEC SOLENOID first and it still gave me the code. Then i get a brand new Switcha and replace that......But still get the light. It appears when i'm in about 3rd gear at about 6500 Rpm's and higher

If a similar Problems has been encountered Please give me some input

Thanks

have you checked to see if the solenoid is getting power? Check your oil level?

check that one wire plug. I have a problem of it coming out of the back of the plug (where the wire goes into the plug) sometimes......

that is the solenoid, and should throw code 21 if it comes unplugged.

What ecu are you running? Does vtec still work before the cel?

I'm using an Ecu that was chipped with a Skunk 2 Program. We had it in my Cousins ITR and it was working perfectly. As for the Screen it looks clean and the plug looks straight. and i'm able to hit vtec before the code comes on. And the oil level is perfect put some synthetic mobil one in the motor when i swapped it in this weekend

what ecu is it? some (p72 for instance) look for a vtec pressure switch ground at a26, and some (like p28) you can just ground it to the head.

did you check teh pressure switch? A way around this, is to just ground the pressure switch wire to teh chassis. The drawback being, that VTEC will engage regardless of the oil pressure being high enough or not.
