Have any other EFers had this problem? When trying to put the front shox onto the front forks it is like a tight fit. The bottom the shock expands the fork almost all the way, making it so i kinda have to bang the shock in there. Once in, it is like the shock it too thick. The screw grinds against the shock making it difficult to screw in, once its threading of course the bolt cannot screw all the way in. Need help. Any info is appreciated. Thanks in advanced.

Are you sure its for the EF? Looks like you got a set for the EG. Try out an EG fork and if it fits nice ask the place you got it from to replace it with the correct shock.
THe pinch bolt is supposed to go throug the lip that is machined into the strut, you are pushing it to far down into the fork, you can see the lip hanging out of the bottom of the fork in the last pic

Positive they for EF, have the stickers on them. I got them used from a fellow trusted ht member.
I tried tightening them down on the lip, screw went all the way in, and shock had play, like it was loose in there.
I noticed the shocks had previous engravings from the screw, from being installed before.

The shocks are the same as mine were. All you have to do is hammer of the old brake line holders of your old shocks and install them on your tein's, then install it on your forks and torque to the proper specs.

The brake line holders are the peices on the shock that the line was bolted to, on my shocks there was two bolts. This peice should be able to come off(by hammering it off ). Then you hammer it on to the tein shock and it will fill up the space between the fork and shock So the fork will be able to pinch the ribbed part and then you have a place to bolt up your brake lines, then these shocks will work. If you try to run it the way that it was you will wreck some nice coil overs. I found mine at the auto wreckers off of a old civic.

Aight coo thanks. See I was thinking since I didnt purchase mine new in box that it would simply state in the instructions how to mount the front shocks in the forks.
You got super streets? Man, I want my forks all nice like that
