Default is this a good deal?

b18b with Ls head
brand new cobalt (i think thats how its spelled) turbo piston (standard)
Used t3/t4 turbo only (need to be custom piping to fit b series ($60 custom price)) no piping included

$600- total

My buddy selling it to me, what do you guys think (newbie to car). I currently have a 99 civic si with b16a2 stock , DC 4-2-1 Header, golden eagle fuel rail. I want to sell my si to my sister so I wanted to do my first motor build up. What do you guys think about the deal , it look pretty good to me for $600.

but it is a good deal in total right new turbo piston , b18b block with ls head, and t3/t4 turbo (made for toyota) but with customizing the pipe it will fit b series motor.... so overall its still a good deal at 6 bill. right?

Well, I'd say just put the head from your b16 and put it on the b18 block so you'll have ls/vtec. But since you want to sell the car, then I say go for it. Is it complete or just the long block?

B18b is ls.. So its not a b18b with and ls head its a Ls long block... Unless you misunderstood and its a b18b block with a B16 head (ls-vtec)

sorry about that its a LS long block no v tec head- due to because i already have a b16 head so there was no need to get another v tec head. The purchase come with LS long block- no tranny, new ARP turbo piston, used T3/T4 turbo for 6 bill how does that sound? i just need an opinion on the pricing what do u guys think

i'm confused with all this talk between b18s and b16s...what exactly are you doing?

i'm pretty sure they call that the poor mans ls/vtec (b18 with b16 head)...do the ls block gsr head...they should call that the rich mans ls/vtec...

but other than that it sounds nice...i think you might get higher compression with the b16 head i'm not sure...do some research...
