How do I lower my compression ratio?
I am planning to add a turbo to my 93' civic D series motor, and I want to lower my compression ratio without doing any bottom end work. I have heard of "head spacers" to lower compression ratio, where do I get these? Any help will be greatly appreciated.

I really don't want to mess with the bottom end, so I'll opt for the thicker head gaskets. But is there a name for these thicker head gaskets, I mean, what do I look for in a online store for example?

3 layer or more gasket. it goes by layers. not too sure what the exact name is.

look em up. they have greddy gaskets as thick as 3mm. that should lower your compression enough to run turbo considering your compression is already kinda low.

if you do get a thicker head gasket, you need to get an adjustable cam gear to compensate for the thickness and keep your motor in time. you should be able to do a search on here for how much to adjust it. but, like most others said, you should be fine with the c/r you have now, just get some colder plugs and have it tuned. you should be fine.
