You have to specify why you are lowering it. For looks? Performance? What do you use your car for--mostly street driving or mostly track? etc etc.

But to generally answer your question, getting a nice set of coilovers will take care of your needs.

Omnipower (sports at least) can get you low, probably 2-2.5 inches lower. ~5-6 cm. I like them for the track, and I could have that slizzamed look if I wanted it.

I had to raise it because of rubbing on my wrong-size tires. Now I have the right offset and it never rubs.

I am not near the limit as to how low these can go.

Yeah, if you care about looks at all, coilovers are great because you can raise or lower the car in about 15-20 minutes (an hour if you suck at it like me). So you can take it right down to where you have rubbing problems, then raise it up a bit.

Omnipower street (10k/8k) and sport (12k/10k) coilovers are $649 from kteller.

You may want to search honda-tech to see if they have a deal running on them.

CRAP-- 1996? What rear LCA's are those, will the normal Type R bolt up or GSR?

Yeah, Omni's are nice. BC's also seem to have really good reviews. I'm still a track-noob trying to get the most out of my stock setup.

There's a ton of coilovers out there, many that are better than Omni, but I would give Omni a two-thumb-up for bargain!

They're awesome. I've driven them from Chicago to VIR, Chicago to Expo, only one of those legs did I end up with a sore back.

I do spend a little time in the air on large bumps, but I think you're destined for that with 10K rears.

They take curbs on tracks with confidence
