ok i got the tranny yesturday... i installed it last night... took it for a test drive and had couple of problems... its really hard to shift from side to side in neutral... and when im in 5 and shifting back into neutral it gets stuck right when u drop it from 5 to neutral... then u gotta force it back.... where as if u down shifted 5 to neutral, it would of went right to the middle of neutral... and it pops outta 4 gear too... its kinda hard to get into gears, its really stiff... when i got the tranny the tranny had a little crack but it look like it wouldnt of effect the tranny cause it was it was right on top of the bolt where u unbolt it to get to the gearing... and the speed sensor also cracked... after test driving it i came back jacked it up again rechecked everything and it look to be fine... or could i have tighten the linkage too tight??? or could this of been UPS fault cause it was messed up when i got it... but the seller didnt buy any insurance u think UPS will pay for it??? this tranny is a almost brand new only gots 4300 miles on it... the seller sold it to me cause he needed a cable tranny... but if u could please help me out and i DoEs AnYoNe KnOw WheRe I CaN GeT SoMe StRObE LiTEZ AnD LiGhT uP WiNdShiElD NoZzLeS??now what my problem is it would be apperciated.. thanks

 

have you tried swapping the changing tranny fluid? shift bushings?

no i used my stock bushing... and im using stock honda tranny fluid... should i be using something else???

 

i'm not sure how bad the cracks can be or how much it can affect your tranny. How long has the fluid been in there for?

 

been in there since 8:30 p.m. thursday night thats when i finished... i drove it around today well yesturday now... for like an hour and whe i went to 4 it kept popping out so i went to five and when i come to a stop and shift back into neutral it gets stuck right at 5 and neutral meet... so then u gotta kinda force it outta there.... all gears are really rough when i shift into them too... could it be my linkage???

 

if your linkage isnt tight then i guess it could do that.

 

i doubled checked that already too though... ill go check it again later on... could u think of anything else that could be wrong...???

 

You have a bent shif fork and possibly a bad syncro.... Sorry for the bad news!

are u for real... ... im gonna go cancel that check... man i should of past on this one... this really sucks cause my car has been sitting in the garage for like 3 months now... im go call up the seller and ask for refund cause he sold me a bad tranny... but if u can think of anything else just post... cause im gonna be out flooring the poo poo outta that tranny... piece crap ...
