Tranny problems?
Wuddup Fellas
I just got a new eg hatch and seem to be having a slight problem with the tranny. Going down the road I have had no problem, but when I'm riding through places like parking lots in 2nd the gear jumps out on me. I had a a guy tell me that I may need to get my tranny cables look at and adjusted. Really looking for some good tips before I feel the need to get any major work done. PLEASE HELP!!!!!!!!!

If it's jumping out but doesn't grind going in, try changing the oirl on the tranny and use good honda tranny oil with a bottle of tranny honey from autozone.
$20 is worth a shot don't you think?
Note: I fixed my dads 5spd tacoma this way, 3,000 miles since tranny flush and gears are good.

Re: Tranny problems?
It's definently worth a shot and the funny thing about it is that it's not grinding going in or out of gear, only jumping out while at a slow pace. So you're saying this exactthing was happening with your truck and the tranny honey made it run perfectly?

Yes, it would run good but everytime you would put it in 4th gear it would pop right back.
You have to change the whole tranny oil and add tranny honey, its worth a shot considering it's only like 15-20 Dollars.
No pop outs yet since the flush.
If its not grinding you may be able to save the tranny.
