Just as the title states...How can I check the fluid on my D16???

 

There is a bolt just above the tranny drain bolt. take it out and fill new fluid until is comes out. I used the VSS sensor on top to refill.

Same way for all Honda Tranny's

 

Just go underneath ur car. There is a plug on the tranny that you can stick a 1inch socket wrench into.(u kno, the square thing at the end of the socket wrench where the socket fits on to) This fits right in there. this is where u drain and fill ur tranny fluid. it'll need 2 quarts of 10w30 or i prefer honda manual tranny fluid. Only like $3-4 bottle. You need a funnel with a hose to fill it back up. get that at walmart or something. just fill back up to the drain point. when it starts leaking out, it's full. Then just plug it back up n ur good to go. Gud luk.
