car wont start need help asap please

Default car wont start need help asap please

well my car wont start today almost nothing turns on . battery is good ecu is good. headlights and tails work so does the hazard lights but not the turn signals . power door locks work but not the windows.interior lights dont work ,climate controls dont work mirros dont work either . none of the instruments on the gauge cluster work i checked all those bulbs but when i do turn on the headlights it lights up . i swapped the cluster with another one and that didtn work on my car but does on my sisters .the e brake light doesnt turn on neither does the srs or any of the lighst that usually turn on when starting the car . it doesnt crank over but the fuel pump does work . i dunno heres a link to what ive been doing to my car maybe something that i took off is causing this to happen.http://www.clubcivic.com/board...58036

well the interior lights now work didnt realize that the screws that hold em in place work as a grounding units

Does your car turn over? Does the starter work? how do you know the battery is good?

it doesnt turn over or make any kind of sound at all . i know the battery works because my sister has the same car and i switched batteries ,ecu's and ghauges clusters and everything works on hers and not mine

one thing i can say that i know the alternator has been bad on mine for like 2 months but its hardly been driving since so could that be the problem although im guesing no because the battery should power it to start rite?

i also removed my alarm 3 days ago because it was all busted but i did start the car after removing it . and besides the ignition wires the rest of the wires were t taped in

did a lil research here on ht and somebody with the same problem had a bad clucth sensor maybe thats whats wrong with mine ill check tomorow oh yeah tried to jump start it too that did notin too

Sounds like somethin may have gotten screwed up when you pulled the alarm out, I dunno.

check the starter, what kinda alarm was it. u might have unhooked or messed with the starters ground wire. and check the clutch sensor.

im gonna check those things but somehow they still dont explain why my climate controls wipers and turn signals dont work

well i dont know how i missed it but the big 40A fuse under the hood is blown im still not sure if thats causing my problems have to wate to replace it and see

ha i was about 2 say check the fuses, all those components probably use the same fuse

yup it was the fuse had to go to like 3 different stores to find the damn thing. thanx guys but i feel dumb because the fuses were the first thing i checked and i missed it

check and listen if your fuel pump is priming up or not. if not then check the fuse, its a 15a fuse, under the name altenator valve, but in along those words. i had the same problem, but when i swapped clusters, but that was my problem
