WTF Mates?! Idle adjustment on EK?
I recently took off my y8 head to install some **** (valvetrain) and put it back on with new gaskets and such, now my car idles like ****.
I already searched and read a million posts about adjusting the idle and everyone is talking about an idle adjusting screw. I don't know where this is and all I know of for idle adjustment is the throttle stop on the bottom of the TB (and it's a bitch to get to).
So it idles at about 1100-1200 rpms and when rolling with the clutch in, it jumps to about 2000 rpms. WTF? I already checked for vacuum leaks and nothing. I tensioned my cable with a little bit of slack so thats not it either.
And my vafc says my throttle is at 0% open when I'm at idle.
Can somebody tell me where the adjusting screw is? Or how to adjust the idle?

ok check following
no CEL
timing is within specs (crank pulley timing)
sparkplugs are within specs
air filter is good
PCV valve works properly
heater is turned to cold and off
all electrical things in car are off (headlights, stereo, othere electrical accessories)
with car at a dead cold start, start and hold at 3000 RPM's in park or neutral until cooling fan comes on then let idle
disconnect the round 2 wire electrical connector fron the Idle Air Control valve.
if engine stalls, restart pressing the accelerator holding engine at 1000 rpm's and slowly release gas pedal until engine idles.
idle should be 500-600 RPM's with all electrical accessories turned off.
if this is where you stand, turn ignition off, reconnect the 2 pin connector, and remove the BACK UP (RADIO) 7.5 amp fuse under the hood for 10 seconds to reset ECU

ok first of all, I'm not a retard and i already did/checked that whole list you gave me.
I'll do the iacv test, but I still don't know where the adjusting screw is. Anybody know?

I've read though that thread a million times, the reason it doesn't help me is because it's for civic ef's and crx's, I need to know where this is on a y8 engine.
So can anybody tell me where it is?

Standing on the passenger side looking towards drivers side....you'll note the MAP sensor on top of the throttle body. To its 7-8 o'clock is the screw - it is about 1-2" away. It should have had a rubber cap/plug that was covering it but it may have fallen out/taken out.
