Default EM1 Ignition not working after THEFT ATTEMPT

My ignition does not work
It will not crank the motor over however it does turn on the ignition.

Checked the wiring but that **** is a complete puzzle everything seems fine and it seems to be all connected.

The part where you put the key in is not physically damaged and is still all in one piece.

How much will this cost if I go to a shop to replace the whole thing? Or are these parts repairable?

is your foot on the clutch?

is the battery connected all the way?

is the starter ok?

is the little switch at the end of the ignition connected properly?

thats the ignition swtich, the part he's holding in his hand. make sure that is connected properly. if not, take it out, and insert a flathead in it, and try turning it like you would turn a key and see if it starts.

that might also help.

left side. facing the door.

imagine the key cyl. as a tube. you put your key in one side and the switch is on the other side,.

FIXED!! thanks alot man...that white thing at the end was kinda messed up so the cylinder thing didnt push it all the way so I just stuck a piece of a napkin in there so it will grab it...

I guess they didnt take the car cause they couldnt get the steering wheel to unlock....
