This is one of my co-worker's friends car, and "supposedly" the bottom end was "built" to be able to handle 60psi.

you can build a motor to handle 60psi but it will never last with gas thats for sure. You can go with nitromethane setup like bob norwood built but thats all custom ofcourse. Alcohol can around 40-50psi easily.

b18c block would need sleeves pistons rods head with good valve springs and retainers. And run alcohol. you can run 50 psi easily.

You think the stock crank could handle 50psi?? I don't but maybe somebody out there has a better view on it than me. I just see that as Waaaay too mich presure put on the crank.

Aren't stock cranks on Hondas forged? If so it can probably hold that much boost.. not sure for how long though. But on a drag car, those parts are replaced constantly.

Yes, the stock crank will hold it. Keep in mind it only has to sustain that pressure for (not even)7-8 seconds of actual pressure time. It took me longer to write this post typing 70wpm

C16 without a doubt.

B18C's have girdle's so that helps a lot. I wouldn't want to run 60 psi without one thats for sure.

60 psi? Do you need that much boost? What are you trying to do? Get into the 4's?
