I just sold sold my d16z6 turbo car. You wont want to go higher than 7 psi on stock internals if you want your motor to last.

From what I understand you can run 10 psi daily if you get it tuned and have a good fuel management unit.

Take a look at homadeturbo.com and turbod16.com good stuff there

Yup, I have a friend boosting about 10 pounds on a stock d15b7 right now and his car is still running fine.

there have been people who have boosted thousands of miles on stock d series blocks with the SAFC Hack which is the 2nd shittiest fuel management

Rather than psi #s engine internals are more limited by horsepower #s.

In my experience, the d16z6 is maxed out at between 200 and 230 or so horsepower. Some make more and are fine, some make less and blow their **** up.

My opinion? d16z6 + T3 @ 10psi + good tune and conservative timing = fun and reliable car

It depends on how far you want to go with it.
