i need help with turbo
i have a 2002 honda civic 1.7 sohc and i want to add a turbo but i am not sure how much boost the stock internals can take and last a decent amount of time... take in mind i am not talking 200k miles lol please help me with this info

Your motor can probably only handle about 7-8 psi. Sounds like you need to do a lil bit more research before you decide to turbo it too. Take your time and make sure you know what your getting yourself into its not as easy as it sounds.

Do your research before you boost man. Turbo cars are really serious you would probably wanna build up your internals and talk to ur local tuner man is not as easy as people make it seem.

common misconseption, while building the internals is always a nice option, but everyone has the money, and for many people unless you want to make over 300-350 hp, the stock internals work fine. after a compression and leak down test, then realizing what shape the motor is in, turbo it. you can keep stock internals for thousands and thousands of miles. like everyone else here will tell you, TUNE TUNE TUNE.
