Default Help me fix this!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ok, so i have a constant cel but when i go to pull codes i get absolutley nothing. i have a '92 gs with an itr swap running a chipped p28. basically the car will sputter and die over 4k. i had the problem earlier and when i went to jump the ecu with a paperclip all it did was turn the check engine light on, and when i removed the paperclip the cel went off and the problem went away. now the cel stays on even when the key is turned to acc and jumping the ecu does nothing.

if you are jumping with a paper clip and nothing happens, that means that you have a loose connection..one of the wires going into your ECU is loose and therefore the car is running in safe mode and wont let you rev above 4K RPM..wiggle around all the wires, especically if you have a hondata check and make sure that there are no frayed or loose wires..if you cant find any frayed or loose wires..chances are that you have a bad ECU...definately check out your wiring first though..i went through this exact problem and it really pissed me off, so i know what youre going through

ya i figured it was more than likely a loose wire (and i hope to god its not) or a bad ecu. i'd rather spend the money on the ecu than start electrical troubleshooting.
