Taking off my power steering do i need to seal the rack?

Default Taking off my power steering do i need to seal the rack?

Do I need to seal the rack and keep fluid in it. Or just let it run dry? or get a new rack?

you should seal it. Search in the ITR forum, someone had a thread in there a while ago about how they removed the PS. They looped some line and then put a breather on another line.
