Default intake manifold swap need advice and technichal help.

hello everybody.

has anyone here ever did that and can give me some details?
which manifold should flow better for an Turbo application ?....?

this is my manifold:

OR the pgmfi?

------------------------------------------------------------

now to the practical part...

i KNOW that my manifold (first pic) has a round coolant port, while the pgmfi (second pic) has a kind of a square port, how do we manage that?

i remember that once i used a square gastek from the pgmfi on my manifold and it burst after 3 months.

and what about the fuel rail? fuel lines? TB? TB cable??

best regards moshik galimidi

p.s
what about the sound? is it gonna stay the same?

OMG. What motor is this going on? What car as well? Ge rid of the y7 manifold. Get a y8 or at least a z6 intake manifold.

ive got a turbo Y8, ive tried with the Z6 manifold, (my fiend wanted to see if the y8 was better on his Z6), but i could SOOOO feel the difference in the power, and the power band when we swaped the manifolds, go with the Y8 if your going turbo, and i still recomend the Y8 even with the NA motors too.. but yah DUMP THE Y7 MANIFOLD ITS A PEACE OF ****!!!

Y8 manifold is better either way due to it's larger plenum.
