440s w/out hondata
I'm gonna start my car up finally....I am getting hondata in about a month or so, but I went ahead and installed the 440s, and 255lph fuel pump...I don't plan on boosting till hondata is in...but my question is...
will this be ok? as in...will the car still idle, and drive alright?

If you get a potentiometer, you could use the 440s. You use the potentiometer to reduce the map sensor signal. It is usually @ .80-.90 volts at 20inHg. You want @ .60-.65 volts at idle, then it will act like an AFC in reducing the map signal when you put to -40% or so. I am using 440s with a VAFC and stock obdII ecu.
Well I can't say about a B-series, but on my D16, I use 440's with the stock ECU. I can't idle without the aid of my V-AFC though. Anything less than like -25% and it won't start. I personally idle at -45%, even at full boost (10psi) I'm still at like -12% trim.. dem 440's are big yO!

Ok, i just ordered 440cc for my '00si and should be here tomo. So i just need to adjust the fuel setting at idle only for it to run rite? Do i lower the fuel settings in the narrow and wide open throttle on the vafc at 1000 rpm? or throughout the whole rpm range, or will i not know til i dyno? btw i will be running 15psi. Sorry for all the questions.
I am running DSM 450cc injectors (with a 89 CRX Si resistor box) with the help of an apex AFC in my 93 civic SI and it runs good. I currently have the fuel at -40% and it idles normal.
I am taking it to the smog place today though..i wonder if it will pass with the 450's in there?
only time will tell.
