you can buy a harness that adapts obd1 to obd2. your 96 motor is almost definetly obd2 and ur car is obd 1. the harness is like 150 think. unless you know how to splice your own ecu wires.

i believe all OBD2 harnesses are the same, with respect to shape, you should be able to get a harness off any 96+ honda and build your own harness if you are so inclined

this might seem a little dumb but get a obd1 ecu form a 93-95 vtec prelude it should just plug in it may be your best bet...

Hi:

An earlier posting suggested that you purchase an OBD conversation/adaptor harness - that allows you to sync obd1 to obd2. Unless you're proficient in the field I would not recommend you try splicing. The prices varies from 90-150.

I have some additional info since I swapped a B18C1 [GSR] into an 84 Prelude chassis and is running very well.

yeah ill take all the info i can get . i might have it worked out with a guy on here who has a 93 jdm p-13 ecu obd1 that he said will work. so if it will work im going that, i need to make sure i don't have a knock senser problem.
