*Attention* all SOHC owners...How much power do you get out of it?

I just want to know what kind of horse power is possible out of my 95' civic with its d16(SOHC v-tec).

my d16y7 puts out about 106hp stock. non-vtech of course. so add some on to yours.

200whp is about the max power you can safely get on a stock d16 with a good tune. turbo, of course.

Depends on the size turbo you bolt on. Later this summer we're looking for 500HP out of a D16Z6. Last years set up ran 218WHP and 185ftlbs. How much money do you have?

hell ya, thats about all I would trust myself with right now too. 200hp should go a long way if I lighten it up too. what about performance transmissions? I doubt there is any for this engine....but PLEASE prove me wrong somebody...

people lay 400 whp all the time

. just depends on how much work you do to the block. and picking the right size turbo

I want this car to still be an everyday car, so 200 hp on a low psi sounds pretty good. Anyone else have this kind of setup? And if so, how well has it worked for you?

Best Ive seen - D16Y7 (stock 106hp, 103tq)
Single non-VTEC cam
30lbs of boost, 511WHP.
9 second CRX.

its very common to see a turbo d have 200whp. go to http://www.turbod16.com and you'll find tons of dyno graphs and a list of their setups.
