Default revving a turbo d16z6 to 8000rpms, will it still make power?

Iam building a turbo d16 and am using the following:
crome pro
550cc injectors
255lph fuel pump
SLS manifold+open 2.5" downpipe
t3/to4e 50 trim w/ .63a/r hot

59300 cam+valvesprings+retainers

I have heard that the 59300 runs out of steam around 7200-7500; but, with the turbo would I need to have any port work or new IM, TB to still make some decent power up to ~8000rpms

I wouldn't take the motor to 8k unless you've done something to keep it well oiled that far past redline.

well if honda made the motor redline before 8k i think its 7200 on a sohc, i doubt they designed the cam to make power at 8k.

well if u read it right he is using a different cam.

i wouldnt suggest reving that high unless your bottom end is built to handle it. and then slap it on the dyno and see where you make your peak power.. If you make peak power at 7700 RPM's then you can shift at 8k.

if its built i'm sure it can handle it but just with cams and no work for the bottom end i'm not too sure....like jdmlyfestyle said after the mods put it on a dyno...tune that bitch and see where it makes power...

the only way to truely tell if it makes more power by reving higher is to dyno it.
