Default Dented Oil pan cause smoking ..

I was under my car today and relized my oil pan has like a crease on the crank side and a few other dents in it. My vtec still works and what not but would it cause the motor to smoke any ??? Thanks

i seriously doubt that would have anything to do with it smoking, but then again stranger things have happend, but id look for a different problem, as long as its not leaking and not dented so bad that it would be hitting the pickup or something, the smoke is from something else IMO

Well get this **** ...I changed it out last night no more smoke ..It had also bent the pick up some. Il take pics of the old pan later today to show you how bad it was. Oh well woot for me!
