Dont know if this goes here, but anyways, just pulled my car out of storage and noticed rust on the manifold, how can I remove this and prevent it from happening again? Thanks.

is that your rev hard mani thats rusting? I would say send it out to have it jet coated...

you can't paint it because it will burn off, bare metal will just rust anyway from the high heat cycles, so having it coated is the best bet, it's the only way to keep it looking clean.

I had mine done and it will always look like this...

both sides of the turbo was done also

clean looking hatch btw

For a cheap fix you could take a quick scuff pad to it to remove the dirt and then paint it with a super light coat of black barbeque paint from a hardware store. The thinner the layer of paint the less chance it will crack.

I can do a couple colors for you if you are interested. I use a ceramic coating by Techline that insulates and protects from corosion. What kind of manifold is it?
