Vtec and oil pressure problem. Please help!!
Hello, everybody. Here is my setup. Built Darton LS block, 85 mm Wisco pistons, Eagle rod, B18 vtec head. I have a oil distributor hang on where the battery was. And then there are four seperate outputs, turbo, head, OEM sending unit and oil pressure gauge. When I am cruising, the oil pressure is arround 40 psi. When i bit on it, it is arround 53 psi. The problem is the vtec doesn't kick in hard as it should. I can bearly feel and hear it. I have checked the solenoid and the wire already. There is nothing wrong with them. So, please give me some recommendaton.
Thx Jason

check if your speed sensor is on correctly. and double check the selonoid. i heard you can test it by putting a light bulb to it and when you hit vtec from nuetral it will light up. oil pres. seem ok tho so its not your motor oil
