Weird Gauge Issues (B16 1991 DA)
Hey guys,
I am about to purchase a 1991 DA with a JDM b16 in it. The kid didn't wire up the knock sensor so the check engine light comes on while driving, i believe he is using a pr3 ECU. So i guess the ECU is trying to read a knock sensor but there is none so it throws a code? Should i wire for knock or forget it for now.
Also the speedo seems like its way off maybe its not calibrated right?
Also the car should rev out till at least 8000 rpm but it gets cut off on the stock tach at like 7600 is that just what the stock tach thinks its at? I am damn confused and hope someone else has gone through this or seen this and knows how to fix. Thanks guys in advance.
Also what cluster should i use with this setup??
I know the speedo uses a cable if that could have anything to do with funky readings? Also what cluster should i use with this setup??
