Im just about to swap my old internal to my new external waste gate but what i want to make sure is that when i retune i will be ok.
I have an LM1 wideband with a venturi device to go up the exhaust at the back but it will now be blowing a lot out the wastegate befor it gets to the sensor. I know that its the quility of air and not the amount so it should be ok i just want to be sure. Thanks.

you should be ok, but you always route your dump tube back into your exhaust before the sensor

 

because your watsegate has a special chemical filter that is desigend to **** up your a/f reading because it takes the carbons out of the normal exhaust and they can only be found in the dumptube.






Sometimes, when your sensor is about to go out. It will work fine untill 6krpm. wtf? well its cause there is too much air. if its gets dirty enough it will work untill you boost, then all the exhaust gas is going too fast to stop by and say hi. Slowing down (decreacing the volume) of gas traveling through the dp past the sensor will only help it read better.

 

Cool thanks guys, went to fit it last night but it catches on the radiater so i have to make an extension pipe to relocate it and inch or so any.
Never heard of a chemical filter.
